Two mice were good friend. One of them lived in the countryside while the other was living in the town. country mouse wrote a letter to town mouse and invited him to visit his village.
After receiving the letter the town mouse packed his luggage in a brief case then he went towards the village. When he reached the country mouse was pleased to meet with him. Then he took him for morning walk in the village.
At lunch the town mouse was served with fresh peas,corn, roasted grams and rice.
The Town mouse did not like the small house of his friend nor liked that simple food. He said that there is nothing special to eat in your village.
Later he returned in the evening. But before leaving he invited the country mouse to visit his town. He said d that he would serve him with Delicious food.
After a week the country mouse packed his luggage and proceeded towards the town. After some time he reached the house of town friend. He had to knock the door many times.
The town mouse opened the door and said " My friend you should have ring the bell. It is a norm in the town. The country mouse was ashamed to hear this.
The town friend took him inside and said " You must be tired therefore you should take some rest. The country mouse was very hungry. He said that he had eaten his breakfast in the morning. But since that time i have not eaten anything. The town mouse said " it is difficult to arrange food now but let me try.
He took the country mouse in the kitchen of a house. He opened the cupboard which was full of many foods. He tried to pick a box but it slipped from his hand and fell on the floor.
A lady entered in the kitchen shouting loudly.
There was a stick in her hand. Both the mice were terrified . They decided to escape from here. Town mouse said " we should go an other place in search of something to eat..
The country mouse replied ," i am not much eager for such dangerous living and delicious good. He picked his luggage and bid farewell to his friend. The town moue was very ashamed after the departure of his friend.
